  Bio

Ferrante is a self schooled artist from the age of ten. He graduated as an Electronic Technician from Escuela Nacional Tecnica Nº1.After that he studied for two years at Escuela Superior de Artes Visuales Martin Malharros. He also continued his education at Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata as a student of Architecture and Design. In 2000 he travelled to Barcelona where he attended several lectures in different courses at Escuela Massana, the city council art center, depending from Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona. Back in Argentina, he decided to work exclusively on his art. Between 2003 and 2005 he participated in the Contemporary Art clinics delivered by artist Tulio de Sagastizbal. In 2007 he started showing his work in Zabaleta Lab Art Gallery where he held his last individual exhibition ‘ Persistente Conjunto’, in 2009. During that same year he also held an exhibition at Cultural Center Recoleta and a Wall at Cultural Center de España en Bs AS. The Fondo Metropolitano de la Cultura, las Artes y las Ciencias granted him an award for his work belonging to the line Creators. In 2010 he made a Wall at Ciudad Cultural Konex, and is also invited by Redgaleria to participate in the intervention at building Carlos Pellegrini in Buenos Aires city. The British Council has recently called him to take part in the project ' Rivers of the World' representing Argentina. His work can be found in important private collections in Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, the USA, Spain and Switzerland.
